If you want to help with our youth group we would welcome your service and good ideas.

Ministry is a vital part of the life of our congregation. Youth ministry directs witness and service to the community. It is rooted and grounded in God’s Word. Most importantly, youth ministry is relational ministry. Indeed, how our youth relate to peers and to the community is far more important than what they do. That is why our youth team strives to build trust and caring relationships among all our youth: relationships that reflect the care and love of God.

Youth Team Meeting Activities: As usual, the call is out for anyone who is interested in helping out with the youth program. Because our youth are so talented, intelligent, curious, and energetic, the more people and ideas we have, the more engaged both the youth and the congregation will be.

Youth Nursery Volunteers:  We will only need one teen nursery worker in the nursery with an adult.  If your name is first on the schedule, plan on being there. If you can’t make it, then the next youth name on the schedule for the same day is the substitute.

ANNOUNCE BOARDS ... Please check out the large bulletin boards that are in the church lobby every Sunday morning.  There are postings on these boards about all kinds of fun activities you don’t want to miss! Also check out the Schedules and Events page on this web site.

Youth Can Collections: youth have a collection service for pop (beer, juice…) aluminum cans at the church money raised from aluminum recycling money will go to the Global Barnyard Charity charity is also supported by the ELCA and helps individual families by buying them a self-sustaining animal, such as a goat to the Moreno Family for returning the cans for the youth!
